The best way to keep up with the cutting edge in science and tech.
Welcome to the 16th edition of Smartspaces!
Abstracts, recordings and top, top, top events
Happy New Year & welcome back to Smartspaces! 🎉
Thanks for your patience during our small break over the holidays and hello to all our new subscribers 👋 We’ve recharged our batteries and are ready to hit the ground running, expanding our offering of the best science and tech events, insights and education.
As Google Deepmind shares (another) breakthrough, what’s new with us? 👇
As announced in December, we’ve been building out abstracts of past events, giving you a condensed ~3 minute overview of key ideas, takeaways and examples from past events - allowing you to answer life’s important questions like what does a Taylor Swift ticket have to do with identity?
Check them out an let us know what’s valuable to you!
As we enter a new stage with Smartspaces, we’re increasingly obsessed with questions like: how can we get the most out of our growing recordings library?how can we deliver the most helpful content? what is the most exciting version of Smartspaces?
Answering these questions has been (and will continue to be) a process — one that has led us down some unusual paths (don’t ask how much times has been spent on google search trends…) — but we are committed to keep shipping.
We’ll be unleashing new things in the coming weeks - more to come!
p.s. if you know something about training OS LLMs, get in touch 🙂
What did I miss last week?
We’ve been to some amazing events since our last post - did you miss any? No worries, we’ve tracked down the recordings so you can catch up!
